Hi Dieter, where did you take these shots from? And was it just luck of the draw that the aurora borealis happened or had you planned to go to this location specifically to set these shots up?
Hi Dave, These shots were taken from Fareboda beach close to Jakobstad in Finland. I only just moved here a a month and a half ago. As I was following the Aurora Borealis updates I knew there would be a big show that night and as I knew of Fareboda before I decided to go there and set up my camera. So the only luck of the draw was that the nordic light was spectacular. All the rest was my research, and my work in getting the shots. Where are you located?
